Reasonable price w fast delivery. The foods are good. One of my favorite restaurants in town.

Pretty decent food, large portions. Order from here if you're really hungry. Also, they come really fast! Super quick.

Really hard to screw up Chinese food, but these guys did. Delivery driver was incompetent claimed he was in my building when he clearly was not, and then apparently did not know how to use a buzzer. Stay away!!!!

waited over 1 hour, got yelled by the delivery guy on the phone, and finally found I got a wrong order.....................
Posted 3 years ago by Ren X.
The delivery person was horribly rude...when I reached for the food bag, he snatched it away from my hand as if I did something wrong and forcefully insisted I sign the order receipt first...I signed the receipt and I practically had to prize the bag from him---was this not awkward or what? Was he crazy? To top things off...the food is not very good-----go figure! I will NEVER order from this joint again.

Today I had this restaurant's recommended food "Chinese Crispy Pork Belly Sandwich". And in the sandwich, there's a piece of something... it's a staple!! How dangerous!!
The taste was not bad, but I'll never use here any more. I can trust nothing of their food.

I didn't want to give them 1 start because the food is pretty decent. But waiting 1 hour and a half for cold food, when your just 8 blocks away is completely ridiculous. Its even more ridiculous because when I order over the phone it come in 20 min but if I order it through seamless then I have to wait almost 2 hours.

Food is always on point.

the dish I ordered was average at best. I have had better things here though so I cant use this dish as a judge for the whole restaurant

Just very under whelming Chinese food.

rude delivery person

I waited nearly 75 minutes (it was supposed to be 30-45 minutes). The food is just okay - the soup was tasteless, the rice was totally lacking flavor. The chicken was okay. Honestly, spend another couple bucks and go somewhere else.

Great Cantonese food for midtown. Go for simple stuff like wonton noodles and roast meats over rice.
Posted 3 years ago by Tennie H. T.
The eggroll tasted old and stale. I also ordered the LoMein which I think is kind of difficult to mess up. It had no flavor and just tasted like watered down onions. When I called, the lady on the phone was really rude but I didn't think much of it becuase in my opinion, if the food is amazing, then it's worth it. I will never order from Hing Won again.

INEDIBLE!! the food was atrocious, and im not picky.

Chinatown Style Roast Meat Over Rice. You can't get that simple goodness at every Chinese takeout joint. Delivery has been fine. Recommend.

Authentic Chinatown food

Four of the seven dishes we've ordered from Hing Won have been excellent, two very good, and one (the egg roll) OK but nothing special. So far, we're pretty impressed.

Estimated delivery, 30-45 minutes, actual delivery 75 minutes. Food unimpressive.

They have the rudest delivery person and I am never ordering from them again! The delivery person called me and told me that my building/address didn't exist because he was at 42nd and 10th (which is not what it says on my address/delivery instructions). I was trying to explain where the building was based on where he said he was and he cut me off saying it didn't exist. I tried to continue giving instructions and he told me that "he was trying to help me" and I should not be raising my voice at him and he would just take my food back to the restaurant if that is how I was going to be. I continued to try to explain where the building was by asking him what he saw around him. He answered that he saw the building mine was attached to and so I explained that the entrance was just to the left of what he saw and he continued to insist that it didn't exist. Then suddenly he cut me off and hung up. He showed up at my door a few minutes later and continued to argue with me about how I supposedly treated him on the phone and would not leave until I closed the door on him mid-threat. I can't judge how the food was because I was scared to eat it after it was delivered since some of the container lids were askew and the bag was not closed. For a while after the incident I was afraid to open my door when someone rang the doorbell in case it was him returning to argue with me some more. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

Forgot food items, refuses to include chopsticks the three times I've requested. It's NYC, pick a different Chinese delivery place.

not the best bahn mi ever but it was good and it was above china town so close to home is definitely worth something. the roast duck with rice was good i really liked the cabage

love their beef stew noodle, one of the best!

Food was sub-par and the portions were small compared to other Chinese delivery places. They even forgot my spring roll and when I called to tell them, they offered me credit and said they would 'remember' me. They didn't and I won't ever order from them again.

The Bahn mi sandwiches, although not the most authentic are great! Tried every one and enjoyed them all, especial the roast pork and duck!!!

Insanely efficient. Submitted an order for 10 people and received food within 30 minutes. The roast meats over rice were a big hit.

One of the only places in the area to get authentic chinese food. They have roast duck, pork, chicken, and pig!! You only find that in places like chinatown. So I was ecstatic when I found out. They also have great prices to!!

Will do in a pinch. I ordered the pink roast pork which came fairly quick with some sad looking cabbage and slightly clumpy rice on the side. It's definitely not the best but will do when I'm too far from Chinatown for some decent roast pork.

Not authentic chinese cuisine.

I was so thrilled to see a place in midtown that sells Vietnamese sandwiches, which made it all the more disappointing when I actually tasted it. Edible, that's the best compliment I can give it.

This place is goood... order something you don't normally eat, you may find yourself pleasantly surprised! =)

I've been to this chinese place in person before the food was very authentic. However, when I ordered the roast pork over rice online, it was the pink roast pork. Not the "chinatown over rice" as they usually service. How odd. Service was quick though.

I used to love to buy food here but today's order was cold and bland. The delivery guy totally forgot my appetizer and had to go back for it. I may order from them again because they used to be really, really good and tasty. If they are this bad again, I wont' waste my money twice.
Posted 6 years ago by Adekemi S.
Tasteless, bland, really bad Chinese food. In a city filled with great Chinese food, don't waste your money on this. The sauces are gelatinous, flavorless messes, the chicken is potentially not really chicken, and the delivery guy is rude and won't follow direction.

Good food and good price. Too bad the delivery person is EXTREMELY RUDE and inconsiderate and dirty. Always late and is very rude about it. He will call you 10 mins before he actually arrives so you end up waiting for HIM for 10 mins! This is unacceptable and he must be fired immediately.

The food from Hing Won used to be quite good. But our most recent order was absolutely some of the most disgusting food we've ever eaten. The noodles were still pretty good (but getting too sweet), but the orange beef and the sesame chicken were repulsive. Both meats were all gristle and fat, no actual meat in there. They must figure that because both are breaded and fried that no one would notice. Honestly, we each took one bite and had to spit it all out into our napkins. We can never order from there again. DO NOT ORDER ANY MEAT DISHES FROM THIS PLACE........YOU WILL NEVER KNOW WHAT MEAT YOU ARE GETTING!!!!

Based on the fact that I've worked in Midtown for 15 years and I Chinese, I have to say that this is easily, without question, the worst restuarant I have ever ordered chinese food from. The delivery person was extremely rude even on a 11% tip. No thank you, just sign and run as fast as possible. Also, my personal pet peeve is the delivery guy leaving my food on the floor without handing it to me. Yes, he did that.
Second, the food is horrible. General chow as a slimey mess. The batter skin from each piece of chicken was melted into a goo, and the interesting thing is that I also ordered a sesame chicken and they were exactly the same. Dumplings, soup, even the RICE was horrible.
This is probably my second review ever of a place on seamless. I had to share with you how horrible this is.

I didn't even eat the food yet and I'm pissed. What is the point of me putting in the delivery instructions to COME UPSTAIRS if the delivery guy does not read it? He calls me from downstairs, says "delivery!", and then hangs up before I can say anything else. Then after going downstairs and coming back up with my order, I realize that sauce is spilled all outside of the box and in the bag. NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN.

Food is okay, but I wanted to order the 'Crispy Roast Pork' that is the 'Photos' tab. I didn't see it on the menu, so I ordered 'Roast Park' assuming it was the right dish. Wrong. I ended up getting that dyed red pork stuff that I don't like at all. Luckily, I ordered a soup and wings with it. I didn't touch the pork and still want to taste the Crispy Roast Pork.
